Bunk Beds! We must be CRAZY!!

The girls have been sharing a twin bed ever since we moved here in October. They have been doing okay with it, some days were better than others. But just before Christmas Grandma and Grandpa Briggs brought down a bunk bed that my sister was going to let us use. Oh boy, were they excited! Saralyn was right there climbing up with Alma. I was worried about how that would work because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep her off of it and I didn't want her to get hurt. But she seems to have a little monkey in her because she does just fine. She did fall off once and hurt her leg (she limped for a couple days) but other than that she does great. Alma thinks the top bunk is awesome! Hopefully we don't have any serious injuries, but for now it seems good. And, surprisingly (haha), they sleep much better with their own space! :)

I know this is a little late, but I wanted to show the pictures of the girls seeing
Santa. We went to the library to see him and it was packed! We were standing in line waiting for our turn (kind of, Saralyn doesn't do lines well), and Saralyn saw some of the kids with candy canes. She looked at me wanting me to give her one, and I pointed to where they were getting them - Santa. So what did she do? Pushed her way to the front of the line to get her candy cane. She didn't realize, however, that she would have to sit on some strange mans lap to get it. As you can see from her picture, she wasn't too excited about that. Alma, on the other hand, wasn't scared at all. But when it was her turn she told me that she forgot what she wanted to ask for. I told her it was okay, he probably already knew anyway :)

Warm Days

It seems like all our pictures are out playing, but we love it!After all that snow we got, today was an especially warm day. The snow was really melting fast so we decided to go out and take advantage of the nice weather and the snow before it all melted. I'm sure we will get more snow, but we needed the excuse to get outside!

Because all the snow was melting so fast, it was super heavy!! I almost couldn't get the middle snowball up on the bottom one. But I managed and Alma thought it was great sitting up there on top (with me close by, of course!)

Second attempt at blogging

Well, I tried once and it didn't work out too well. Hopefully this time I will be able to keep up better. For anyone that's interested in Josh's work, I made a blog for him to post pictures of his mounts, antler lamps, and anything else like that. (He really likes to post pictures, I figured this way it might work better. We'll see) Right now, it's called "Josh's Bragg Blog" but I have a feeling he may change the name. Obviously he wasn't here when I did that...I'm sure he'll love the idea! :)
